Toothina, the tooth fairy, has a simple job, as far as kids are concerned. To the average child they see the tooth fairy as a creature that takes their lost teeth and leaves money in it's place. They do not know that she is really taking the teeth to protect the memories inside. They don't realize how important the teeth are.
She is a Guardian of childhood, she protects children. Just like the Easter bunny, the sandman, Santa, and Jack Frost, she does her best for children. She protects the important childhood memories and makes sure to take good care of the teeth.
However, most people do not think beyond that. They see her as the one that is there when they lose their teeth. Most people almost forget about her after they lose their last tooth. To them she no longer matters.
However she has a job that lasts longer then anyone knows. For it is not when you are a child that your memories mean a lot, they are still forming. It is very rare for someone that is 5, 10, or even 15 years old to truly need her help to remember the good times.
People need her when they are an adult. When they are starting a family of their own, or getting a new job. They need her when they are asking a man or woman to join them in marriage. They need her as they grow, so they do not forget what it was like when life was simple.
She protects memories and keeps them safe. She keeps an eye on the world and gives people a reminder when they need it.
If someone is talking to a child that is being 'impossible' she send them a memory of when they were that age, and were just like the child.
When someone is fired and is starting to think that it is all hopeless, she sends them a memory of when they were a fire fighter, pilot, police man, and thief, all in one day.
Her army of hummingbird like faeries make sure that everyone is looked after, not just the children.
As people grow they stop believing in the guardians.
They no longer go to egg hunts on Easter, they stop receiving presents from Nicholas St. North. They grow to complain of the cold and snow, instead of playing in it.
The Sandman and the Tooth fairy are the ones that stay forever. Even as belief fades.
Toothina gives them reminders as they complain about Christmas shopping how happy they were as children, trying to stay awake to see Santa.
She sends them memories of building snowmen and forts, instead of endlessly wishing for Spring.
When Spring comes she reminds them how happy they used to be to plant flowers or play in the grass, instead of now when they only think of allergies and bugs.
She reminds them of when they chased every rabbit on Easter, thinking it would give them more chocolate.
When it becomes Summer and adults can only think of how hot it is, she sends them memories of camping and the beach.
Through fall when they are raking leaves she reminds them of when they jumped in the piles, or climbed the colourful trees.
The Sandman visits in the night, to turn these memories to dreams, and make sure people never forget that sleep is as sweet as when they were children and flew through the sky nightly.
But unlike the other Guardians who are only there at night, or when they are kids. Toothina is with people from the moment they lose their first tooth and place it under their until they die, remembering the times they spent with friends and family.

Four Powers of Camp Half-Blood, chapter 4
Chapter 4: JACK
Jack didn’t like where this was going, not one bit. Sure, Merida was annoying and stuck-up and stubborn most of the time. She had cursed him a couple times, not in a pleasant way, that is. The red headed Scot had been rude, un-welcoming strange, and rebellious towards him. But she was a friend who had, in the long run, accepted him and appreciated his unnerving existence. And considering Merida was a tad sceptical, that was down-right impressive taking all into consideration.
So he didn’t like it – hell, he hated it – when those campers attacked her like that, like she was that misfit duckling in that

Rise of the Guardians- Chapter 1
A young blonde girl no older than the age of five was staring at the TV screen in interest. There was a Christmas special playing on the televison, for it was only a couple of days before Christmas was here. The young girl reached for her pack of crayons and grasped the blue crayon. She began to draw the character that had caught her attention. He had pale blue skin, pale blue hair, a blue hat, and blue outfit. Her mother walked in the room and sat down beside the girl.
"What are you drawing, Savanna?"asked her mother as she kissed the top of the girl's head. The girl, who was named Savanna, pointed at the television.
"Jack Frost!"she chir

Make a Wish - Pt. 1 (Jack Frost x Reader)
He was standing at the foot of the bed.
His ice blue eyes remained on the form beneath the sheets.
His arms were crossed, while his face was nearly blank of emotion.
His mind, on the other hand, was deep in thought.
There was something that was not being said.
He had a grasp of the obvious, but felt there was more to know.
He became mildly irritated.
It was like before, trying to remember the memories he had forgotten.
He played the conference with North over again in his head in an attempt to figure things out.
"You want me to what?" He asked incredulously.
"Is it not clear by the letter already?" North asked, one of his eyebrows r

Ok, slightly depressing end to an otherwise nice thing is what I get for listening to Van Canto while writing.
...What? Were my Watchers expecting more Theresa stuff? Sorry to disapoint, this is what came out when I started typing, maybe I'll come back to Theresa and Tooth later, but I think that kids been lucky and unlucky enough!
ANYWAY this is how I see Toothina, if you disagree, that's nice, this is my opinion.
I see her and Sandy as being the ones that stick with you after you stop believing. Lets face it, as people grow old they complain about the snow and cold Jack brings, they start to hate Christmas songs and will largely forget about Easter.
I'm still a teenager, but I realize that as I grow North and Bunnymund will no longer have that great a presence in my life. They already don't. Jack Frost still has a bit of a presence, but only because it's winter for half the year where I live and I can't be inside all the time! (plus I have two little sisters and nothing is more fun than building a snowman with them) So those three are already not as important to me as they once were.
To be frank, the tooth fairy as I saw her as a kid stopped being important when I was 11 and lost my last tooth, but the movie version of her. Where she is the one that guards our memories and stuff, is very important to me.
The other night I was thinking of when I was a kid, trying to remember something besides the memories I have told to myself thousands of times. (Mostly because I was thinking about how the heck we store memories anyway) It was hard, in my life there are many moments I could tell you about easily, because I have told people about them many times. Trying to remember anything else is hard, but not impossible, and after a little thinking I was able to pull many memories up. These memories, however hard to get at, will always be important, good or bad.
As for Sandy... I still sing that sandman lullaby and get good dreams every time, enough said?
Sorry the actual post was so short and this was so long (wow rant)
